Electrochemical Sensors

Giner has a broad portfolio of developmental sensors based on PEM electrochemical technology.  PEM sensor technology has the advantage of being free of liquid electrolytes and associated leakage and maintenance requirements.  Giner's sensors are low cost, durable, and amenable to many configurations for miniature and portable instruments.  Giner's sensors  have been developed for a variety of gases, vapors and dissolved gases.  Sensor formats include standard probes, miniature probes, thick film sensor chips, room monitors, catheter tip in vivo blood-gas monitors, breath analyzers and transdermal sensing.  Instrument configurations include handheld units, fixed location devices, wristmount styles, portable units and laboratory models.  Detection limits for some of these gasses are in the low ppb range offering the potentail replacement for more costly analytical equipment (gas chromatography, optical techniques). Optional onboard data-logging capabilities are available for most applications.
